ideal standard 13/12/2004 72 minutes net ambient only. First broadcasted on RBS in Strasbourg, ex-hometown of Christmas, France. Do you ever wish to be a cow-boy, riding through wide open spaces, while the sun slowly sets down in your back, and some epic whistle slowly rises? I do again these days, except i'd rather walk through wide empty streets at night. I never liked cows or whistling though. Oh, and please consider this as some kind of Christmas present. It's wintertime, you know. Staying at home, drinking coffee, watching the snow, and spending some time to play cards with good friends, sharing nice conversations while drinking some tea or whatever you please. Thinking about your ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend. Then suddenly feeling the need to cheer up, and to turn the heat up. Oh, this is ideal standard, one hour net ambient, first broadcasted on RBS/Strasbourg the 7th february 2005. And it's my small contribution to help you through... ( 1 reviews )
Last months have been awfully cold up where I live, I cannot remember having seen so much snow since I was a kid. Back in those days, I almost prayed for the snow to fall, desperatly wishing for the snowballs season to open once again. As a teenager, I kept on wishing for snow since it could have made it impossible for the bus to drive us at school (which never happened though). Now, as a grown up something, I cannot help myself quoting a girl I met some weeks ago. It's a kind of haiku she... ( 1 reviews ) Topics: Ambient Mix, Cinematic Ambient
"As John Cage has insisted,"there's no such thing as silence. Something is always happening that makes a sound." (Cage has described how, even in a soundless chamber, he still heard at least two things: his heartbeat and the coursing of the blood in his head). Similarly there is no such thing as empty space. As long as a human eye is looking there is always something to see. To look at something that's "empty" is still to be looking, still to be seing something - if... ( 1 reviews )
idmix13 - 27/06/05 : 60 minutes of net ambient, first broadcasted on RBS / Strasbourg. Though this is the first time for a while that I allow myself to get a little bit moody, I promised myself not to get too sentimental. So, hey, it's thank-you time I guess... Many thanks to all the artists and to their respective netlabels. Thanks to everyone who came by to play records, everyone who sent some contribution, and everyone who came by just to be there, you're way too many to mention. I owe a... We present a deterministic approach based on continuous measurement and real-time quantum feedback control to prepare arbitrary photon number states of a cavity mode. The procedure passively monitors the number state actually achieved in each feedback stabilized measurement trajectory, thus providing a nondestructively verifiable photon source. The feasibility of a possible cavity QED implementation in the many-atom good-cavity coupling regime is analyzed. Source: http://arxiv.org/abs/quant-ph/0603219v1
